10 Most Awkward Moments Caught On Live News

Description:
Fame is something that is extremely selective. It seems that in order to become famous these days, you have to either become extraordinarily talented, or do something incredibly silly or random. It may not seem fair to the artists who have been working tirelessly to achieve their name in lights when someone got famous for laughing really hard while wearing a Chewbacca mask. But it happens, and it seems that fame really doesn’t discriminate. It seems that certain people achieve fame for a variety of reasons depending on what society needs at the time. It’s hard to predict that need, which is why it’s such a shock when a new celebrity comes to light, or someone gets their 15 minutes of fame for odd reasons. Whether we need a good laugh, a sense of hope, or the need to feel better about ourselves, fame ensures the next trend of popular movies, music, and media in the upcoming years.
Here are ten people who became famous for odd reasons. For example, Lin-Manuel Miranda became a household name in 2016 after his show, “Hamilton” became known to the masses after the cast performed at the Grammy Awards in February of 2016. He was considered to be Broadway’s best kept secret. While skepticism was prevalent in the show’s premise, which was a mixed race cast of Founding Fathers rapping their way through the show, it ended up becoming a favorite among celebrities, thus making Lin famous for an odd reason. The idea worked and launched Lin’s career as an actor, musician, and artist.

10 People Who Got Famous For All The Wrong Reasons!

Description:
Today we can collect our news from a wide variety of sources. A few decades ago, it was all about radio, newspapers and the six-o’clock news. Today, those forms of information have been augmented with the vast array of internet sites and social media apps that send us headlines and stories as soon as they are published. Yet, even with the new methods of getting news, people still turn to the live televised broadcasts when they really want to get into a story or follow developments on the bigger stories. In these instances we rely on not only what the cameraman is focused on but what we are being told by the live reporter. Their job is to narrate, provide background information and even ad lib in order for us to make sense of what we are seeing.
Of course, as with anything involving humans, live news is prone to human error. News anchors can mess up their teleprompter lines, weather people can get all disoriented using the green-screen and reporters on the street are exposed to Mother Nature and the occasional rowdy drunk wandering around. The resulting moments can be hilarious to watch and are generally labelled moments of ‘fail.’ On this issue, some fails are much bigger than others. As you’ll see, live reporter fails come in a variety of shapes and sizes. From embarrassing and painful gaffs to stories that just shouldn’t have been covered to begin with, these fails range from funny to cringe-worthy – but they are all definitely awkward to watch.
